Internships and industrial training are known to be one of the most learning experiences in an undergraduate’s period of study. It is during this internship where students gain first exposure to the industry as their first step towards becoming a competent professional. At IIT Ropar, as a part of the curriculum, pre-final year students of the B.Tech. programme undergo at least 40 working days of compulsory summer internships in various leading organisations. Students are also exposed to latest industrial experience by regular industry visits. Second-year students also gain valuable industrial exposure through internships in the industry.
