Students at the postgraduate level are trained to assume independent responsibility by laying emphasis on self study component in courses and assigning teaching assistantship duties to mentor UG/PG students as well as to get acquainted with the latest developments in the various areas of Chemical engineering.
The major aim of Ph.D programme in Chemical Engineering is to provide extensive research exposure to B.Tech/M.Tech students in diverse fields of Chemical Engineering.
Students with M.E/M.Tech degree will be required to earn 12 credits, whereas students with M.S/M.Sc will be required to earn 15 credits. Students with B.E/B.Tech degree will have to earn 20 credits.
