Biography

Dr. Bibhu Prasad Padhy received BE degree in Electrical Engineering from the University College of Engineering Burla, Odisha, in 2006 and MTech degree from the Dept. of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India, in 2009, and subsequently he received his PhD degree from the Dept. of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India, in 2015. After his PhD, he worked approximately 8 months as a Project Engineer in the Advance Power System Lab at IIT Kanpur. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Ropar. His research interests include power system dynamics and stability, WAMS, and AI applications in power systems.
