Biography

Dr. Saifullah Payami has received his PhD degree from Indian Institute of Technology Patna, Patna India in year 2016. He completed his B.Tech and M.Tech from Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India in year 2007 and 2010 respectively. Dr. Payami after finishing his PhD, has worked as a Research Scientist in Rolls-Royce @ NTU Corporate Lab, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor at IIT Ropar. His research areas of interest are Multiphase (more than three phase) electrical machines and its control, design and fault diagnosis of electric machines.

Worked as Research Scientist at Rolls-Royce @ NTU Corporate Lab, NTU, Singapore from February 2017 till February 2018.
Visited Power Electronics and Electric Drives lab of Qatar University, Doha Qatar for short term research from 9th April 2013 to 7th July 2013 and from 1st July 2014 to 26th September, 2014.
