How to Reach:

A note on reaching Ropar (Roopnagar) can be found at : http://www.iitrpr.ac.in/location .

Workshop venue is IIT Ropar Main Campus (https://goo.gl/maps/1Bw6Dc5krSE2). IIT Ropar main campus is around 6-7 Km from Ropar (Roopnagar) railway or bus station. You can reach main campus from Ropar bus or railway station in either one of the following ways:

1. Arrive at IIT Ropar transit campus -1 and catch an institute bus to main campus. Bus timings are provided in the attached file.

2. Hire an auto to main campus. An auto may charge approximately Rs. 150 for commutation from Bus/railway station to main campus.

Once you reach main campus, report at the help desk to get additional details.

Bus Schedule Between Both Campuses (Monday to Friday) w.e f 08.01.2019

Note:

1) Buses will be run on point to point basis. Authorised stoppage will be allowed.

2) Route of Bus: IIT Ropar (Transit Campus) → Flyover → JR Theater (Right diversion) → Sri Chamkaur Sahib Road (Alongside Sarhind Canal) - SAS Academy (Backside) → Ropar bypass highway Chowk  (Right diversion) ᴖ → Bela Road lights→ Haveli Dhaba → Slip road (Left diversion before Satluj Bridge)   →IIT Main.  

3) For any grievance / problem, please do not argue with the driver(s). In any case, please contact Transport Section, only.

4) Market Trip (Except Sunday): From Transit Campus -1 at 6:35 PM and from Main Campus at 6:35 PM 

Point of Pick / drop in market will be BELA CHOWK (SBS Chowk). For back to Transit – 1, bus(s) will report back at 8:20 PM at Bela Chowk (SBS Chowk).

5) Ropar Railway Station Trip(s)

6) Every Friday:  From  Main Campus  to Ropar Railway Station at 10:15 PM

7) Every Saturday: From Main Campus  to Ropar Railway Station at 5:50 AM

8) Every Monday:  From Ropar Railway Station to Main Campus at 5:15 AM
