About the Workshop
Students from neighbouring institutes around Ropar and Chandigarh participated in the workshop. The workshop provided a platform for enhancing theoretical knowledge in Ad-making, Design and Aesthetics as understood from the vantage point of Humanities. It gave special emphasis to psychoanalytic thinking behind ad-making. There were lectures as well as discussions on how to develop ideas for advertisements. Further, lectures on theories and case studies in aesthetics and design were also covered. The workshop consisted of an ad-making competition during the three days by a team of students.
