Biography
Malini L Tantri is an assistant professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar. She obtained her Master's degree in Economics from Gulbarga University, Gulbarga, Karnataka, in 2004 and obtained her doctoral dissertation at ISEC, Bangalore (2011). For her doctoral work, she studied the performance of various Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in India and China and their role in international trade. Her research interests include Indian and Chinese Special Economic Zones (SEZs), Agricultural Export Processing Zones and Gender Dimensions of Trade Policies, Agriculture and Trade.
