Biography
Sneh Jaswal was the Head of the Department of Psychology at MCM DAV College, Chandigarh from 1991 to 2005. In 2004, she was awarded a Chevening Fellowship to do a course on ‘Women in Leadership and Management’ in UK. This rekindled her interest in professional advancement and she went to UK again to pursue a PhD in Psychology at the University of Edinburgh. Now returning to India, she has joined IIT, Ropar, as a Visiting Professor in Psychology.
Research Interests
- Interested in understanding human cognition using the experimental method drawing on insights from an eclectic mix of philosophical, physiological, computational, and empirical approaches
- Current focus: Binding of visual features in Perception and Memory
