ADVANCED SCHOOL AND DISCUSSION MEETING ON KNOT THEORY AND ITS APPLICATIONS
  
Department of mathematics of IIT Ropar in collaboration with IISER Mohali and IISER Pune, Organized ICTS program "Advanced School and Discussion Meeting On Knot Theory and its Applications" during December 10-20,2013 at IISER Mohali.A total of 67 participants including 25 speakers from abroad participated this program.
Speakers were from the USA, Japan, France, Greece, Serbia, Russia,UAE and India. The advanced school was mainly for graduate students and young researchers who are either working or wants to work in Knot theory and related areas. The topics included: Combinatorial Knot theory,Knot Quandles,Knot homologies,Surface knots,Knot theory and 3-manifolds,Knot invariants.
