Dr. Tapas Chatterjee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at IIT Ropar. Dr. Tapas Chatterjee obtained his Doctoral degree from the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai, India. After obtaining his Doctoral degree the Dr. Chatterjee joined as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the department of Mathematics & Statistics at Queen's University, Kingston, Canada. Dr. Chatterjee was also a visiting researcher at the Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics (ICERM, Brown University). Dr. Chatterjee's research is focused on various topics in Number Theory.
