Admission Procedure for regular PhD and MS(R) shortlisted candidates for Sem-II, AY 2016-17
The subjects for PhD/MS examination for shortlisted candidates are the following (along the lines of GATE syllabus):

Programming
Data Structures
Algorithms
Theory of Computation
Computer Organization and Architecture
Operating Systems
Discrete Mathematics
Linear Algebra
Probability and Statistics
Computer Networks
Databases

The written examination on the above topics will be approximately 1 hour in duration and will be held on November 3rd, 2016. All shortlisted candidates must report at 9:00 am on November 3rd, 2016.

Candidates selected after the written examination will appear for interview. Note that the presence of candidates undergoing the interview process is required on both November 3rd and November 4th, 2016. The interview process may involve written as well as oral component.
