Manoj Kumar Dounkal

Manoj kumar is a research scholar in School of Mechanical, Materials and Energy Engineering, IIT Ropar. He holds B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Calicut in 2005. He is working as Scientist-D in Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL), DRDO, Delhi. He is working in DRDO for the last 11 years. Initial 5 years, he was associated with the working of high energy materials, solid propellants in High Energy Materials Research Laboratory (HEMRL), Pune and Advanced Centre for Energetic Material (ACEM) Nasik. For the last 6 years he is working in SSPL, DRDO, Delhi. He has experience of Design and Simulation of RF MEMS Switches. He is experienced in Mask design layout for fabrication of MEMS structures. He has hands on experience of depositing thin metal films using e beam evaporation system. His current area of research is mechanical characterization of MEMS structures and devices. He is looking forward in the field of static and dynamic characterization of MEMS devices for better design, enhanced performance and reliability.
