Prof. Prabal Banerjee

Prabal Banerjee received his M. Sc. degree in chemistry from The University of Burdwan in 1998. After that he joined Prof. Ganesh Pandey’s Group at National Chemical Laboratory Pune and earned his Ph. D. in 2005. Later he worked as postdoctoral fellow in the RWTHAachen University, Germany and Purdue University, USA. He joined Indian Institute of Technology Ropar as an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry in 2010. He is now associate professor in Chemistry Department. Postdoctoral Researcher Dr. Sumit Kumar Rastogi Sumit joined the group in June 2024 and is working as Project Research Scientist-II. He received his PhD from CSIR – Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, UP, India (CSIR-SRF). Before joining the group he worked as a Post-Doc in SNIoE, Delhi NCR.
