Dr Dinesh Deva
Senior Materials Scientist, graduated and post graduated from IITs, having more than 25 years’ experience in working with sophisticated analytical equipment for materials preparation & characterization.
From past several years, I have been working as Consultant for the development of Clean Laboratories.
From Jan 2016 to July 2018, worked as consultant for the Development of an upcoming Centre for Device Fabrication, at IIT Mandi, (Himachal Pradesh) . The center has class 100, class 1000 & class 10000 clean labs with all the utilities required for the device fabrication and characterization research. The center has equipped with Fire suppression system, Building Management System, CCTV Access Control Etc.
Designing of clean labs as per requirement, Preparation of quantity of each items required (BOQ) , preparation of Tender document, technical evaluation of bids and identification of turnkey vendor, check on the supplied material and monitoring of the entire fabrication of clean labs was in my scope. Coordination with all agencies, like IWD, CPWD and institute administration with clean room vendor and finally installation of scientific equipment were also part of my responsibility.

In 2011, designing of class 100, class 1000, class 10000 and class 1,00,000 labs were also done for the UGC funded National Centre for Nanoscience & Nanotechnology at Mumbai University, Kaleena Campus.
Earlier, in 2008, similar centre, Centre for Nanoscience, having class 1000 & 10000 were designed and developed at IIT Kanpur. I was appointed as full time consultant for the development of the centre. My job was to prepare detailed BOQ of required items, identify the vendor, check the progress of the development.
