General Information

1.       Fill online application form available under Admissions tab on our website. Candidates are required to submit an application fee as per procedure given below:

Procedure for Online Bank Transfer (State Bank i-Collect):
1.1. Login to www.onlinesbi.com
1.2. Select State Bank Collect
1.3. Select Classic version
1.4. Accept terms & conditions then proceed
1.5. Select State as Punjab
1.6. Type of Corporate/Institute and select--> Educational Institute
1.7. Select IIT Ropar A/c
1.8. Select Payment Category.
1.9. Make payment (Rs. 200 for GEN/OBC, Rs. 100 for SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates)

2. While uploading documents, please rename your document as yourname_mobile number.

3. All selected candidates who are Indian citizens and who do not receive any other scholarship/funding, will be provided financial support by the Institute. Admission to reserved category candidates will be as per Government of India notification.

4. Generous Research Assistantships and other financial support for attending conferences within India and abroad are available as per MHRD norms subject to the conditions prescribed in the Institute regulations.

5. Selection will be based on written test or interview or both. Mere fulfilment of the minimum eligibility criteria does not entitle a candidate to be called for PhD entrance test. TA will be provided to the shortlisted candiates appearing for Entrance Exam.
