PROFILE
Mr. Dhanwantari Prakash Tripathi is a postgraduate in Library & Information Science and Economics. He has 19 years of experience in managing IT resources in Libraries. Presently, Mr. Tripathi has been working at NIT Jalandhar in the capacity of Deputy Librarian. He is also the recipient of the Commonwealth Fellowship in 2016 and completed the same at the University of East London, UK.
Mr. Tripathi has also expertise in Web Server, Linux OS, and Open Source Software for libraries such as Koha, DSpace, Joomla, WordPress, Reference Management Tools, and Learning Management System (LMS) Tools – Moodle, Open Journal System (OJS) etc. He has expertise in providing training on Open Source Solutions for libraries and has been giving training throughout the country and abroad as well.
He has been maintaining his online platform in the form of a website www.librarianguide.in and a YouTube Channel namely “Librarian Guide” (www.youtube.com/c/librarianguide) for sharing information and knowledge with library professionals.
