PROFILE

Dr. Dinesh K. S. is working as a Librarian and Officiating Registrar at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar. Prior to this he worked as a Selection Grade Librarian at NCET, Bengaluru. Overall he has got 25 years of experience in Library and Information Management. He is a recipient of 2014 Commonwealth Professional Fellowship and as a part of fellowship program he worked at University of East London, UK for a period of three months.

He is proficient in Library management, Content management, print and electronic resources management, Library Management Systems, Space planning, Research support services, RFID implementation and use.

Dr. Dinesh is a recognized Research Supervisor at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and he has published more than 20 papers in peer reviewed journals and reputed conference proceedings.

Other key responsibilities he holds are: Nodal Officer for National Academic Depository (NAD); National Digital Library (NDL); Vidwan Expert Database, Database of Research Scholars (DBRS) and he is also actively associated with the Institute level committees such as IT, Ranking, Sports & RFID Implementation of physical assets. He is also a member of journal editorial board & the member of Library professional associations.
