| Cynosure & National Symposium on Advances in Mathematics, Cynosure, the annual research day of Department of Mathematics, IIT Ropar, is expected to provide an opportunity for the young researchers to meet and discuss about the latest development in the field of mathematics. The symposium will also provide an opportunity to meet a few top mathematicians of India. The aim of the symposium is to motivate young students and academicians towards research in mathematics and allied areas. |
| Prospective candidates are invited to submit an abstract (in LaTeX or Word file) of their proposed research topic not exceeding 250 words to cynosure@iitrpr.ac.in preferably on or before 17th Nov, 2022 . If shortlisted after review, they will be communicated (latest by 20th Nov, 2022 ) to prepare a oral presentation at CYNOSURE-2022.Guidelines for oral: Every selected candidate will get 10 - 15 minutes to present his/her research ideas. Important remark: There will be awards for the best paper presentation, which will be chosen by expert reviewers. |

Cynosure & National Symposium on Advances in Mathematics participants are required to register by paying a nominal fee ₹500 (Rupees Five Hundred Only) towards food, kit etc. Online Mode: Registration can be done by filling up the registration form (also downloadable by CLICKING HERE) and pay the fee by bank transfer/deposit. The proof of the payment and the filled-in form should be scanned and send by email to cynosure@iitrpr.ac.in on or before 25th Nov, 2022
