She carried out her post doctoral studies at IIT Guwahati for one year obtaining a fellowship from National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM). She joined as a senior lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at IIT Gandhinagar and continued till April 2010. Now she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at IIT Ropar.
