B. Tech in Electronics & Communication, IIITDM Jabalpur Gimbal System: The aim of this project is to manufacture a two DOF gimbal system and then use it for surveillance and tracking purposes. It takes coordinates of the point where camera has to point as input and move the joints such that camera points in that direction. By giving continuous input of points it can be used to follow a path or track an object.

B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering, IIT(BHU), Varanasi RPR Robotic Arm: The project is to realize a 3-DOF Robotic Arm which is based on the R-P-R Mechanism. It consists of 3 Actuators, i.e. two Servo Motors and one DC motor with encoder. In order to incorporate the prismatic joint, the slider crank mechanism is used. Initially, Force Analysis is done to calculate the Torque that is required to be given by the Servo Motor. The Mechanical Structure is made from the TETRIX kit provided by PITSCO.inc which features heavy duty, high grade aluminium components for construction. The Control System consists of an 8-bit Microcontroller provided by ATMEL called ATMEGA8 which controls the 2 servo motors and a DC Motor with encoder.
