Biography: 

Mukesh Kumar is a Research Scholar in Department of Mechanical Engineering (DME) at Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) since 05th-January-2018, on the Goverment of India (GOI) sanctioned project proposal number-5815 under IMPRINT scheme, sponsored by MHRD, New Delhi, entitled as "Design, development and demonstration of indigenous high pressure (700 bar working pressure) hydrogen storage tank and fuel cell system for mobile and stationary applications of 5 kW capacity". 
             He is working as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DME at IIT Ropar from 01st-auguest-2017, on the same IMPRINT project-5815. He has completed his Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Ropar, Punjab, India, in the session 2015-2017.  He received Bachlor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from a Goverment Engineering College of Bihar, named as "Motihari College of Engineering" (MCE), Motihari, Bihar, India, in the session 2010-2014.

Areas of Research: 
Design, development, fabrication, demonstration and testing of “Indigenous hyperbaric (>700 bar working pressure) Type IV hydrogen storage cylinder as well as hydrogen permeation testing facility for pressure up to 1050 bar, to test permeation through wall of Type IV cylindrical pressure vessel test sample".
Mechanical, Material (Composite, Polymer and Steel), Design (Mechanical Structure and Component), Simulation and Energy (hydrogen).
Abaqus UMAT, Abaqus Plug-in (WCM, CM, etc.), Python, Ansys-fluent, Comsole Multiphysic, MATLAB, Tosca.
Education: 
M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Ropar, Punjab, India, with 7.1 CGPA in the session 2015-2017. His M.Tech thesis is entitled as "Design and Material Optimization of Type IV Hydrogen Cylinders using Finite Element-Based Simulation Framework".
B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Motihari College of Engineering, Motihari, Bihar, with 83.14 percentage in the session 2010-2014. He cracked the BCECE-2010 and get the admission in MCE Motihari: (A government engineering college of bihar, affliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU), Patna and approved by AICTE.)
Qualified GATE-2015 with score 710 and 66.88 marks. Five times GATE- [2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018] cracked.
Qualified BCECE-2010 with PCM rank BC-685/GEN-1372. Two times BCECE- [2009, 2010] cracked.
Qualified GBTU-2010 with rank BC-1872/GEN-7831. Two times GBTU- [2009, 2010] cracked.
Work Experience:
