Surappa in the august presence of Prof. N. Sathyamurthy, Director, IISER, Mohali and Members of BoG, IIT Ropar. Mr. A. K Sarin, Prof. A. Sridhran and Mr. S. Ramanujam (Members of BWC) and other officials welcomed Mr. D. S. Kapur, ADG of CPWD and Mr. Harnam Singh, the Chief Engineer of CPWD. Mr. S.R. Sikka presented the model of new campus to senior officials and institute’s consultant for this project. faculty members, students and staff participated in the ceremony of unveiling of foundation plaque.
