Brief Research Profile

Dr. Awaneesh is an Assistant Professor at the School of Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering (sAIDE), Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar), Punjab, India, serving from December 2025 to Present. Prior to this, he served as an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing and Electrical Engineering (SCEE) and as an Affiliate Faculty member at the Center for Quantum Science and Technologies (CQST), Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi), Himachal Pradesh, India, from November 2024 to December 2025. He was also a Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Computer Science, University College Dublin (UCD), Dublin, Ireland, from April 2024 to October 2024, where he worked on the ROBUST 6G project funded by the European Union (EU).
