Biography

Dr. Aaditya Pandey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar. He received his Ph.D. for his research on forward osmosis membrane processes for fruit juice concentration and shelf-life enhancement. He brings interdisciplinary expertise spanning mechanical engineering, packaging technology, and chemical engineering, with a focus on developing sustainable solutions for chemical and allied industries. During his postgraduate studies, he was a visiting graduate scholar at the University of New Brunswick, Canada, where he worked on an industry-oriented research project in collaboration with Oval International, USA.

His industrial experience as a Production Process Analyst provides practical insights into manufacturing operations, process efficiency, quality improvement, and production optimization. He integrates this industry-oriented perspective with his research to develop scalable, resource-efficient, and commercially viable technologies for chemical and allied industries.
