Biography
Swati A Patel is currently working as an Assistant Professor of the Department of Chemical
Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, India. She completed M.E. in Chemical
Engineering from M.S. University of Baroda, India with the specialization in Polymer Technology. She
received her PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India
focusing on computational modeling and simulation of non-Newtonian fluids. She worked as a post-
doctoral researcher at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, New Jersey, USA on mathematical
modeling of pharmaceutical processes. Her research interest is in the area of computational fluid
dynamics (CFD), Computational modeling of complex fluids, Rheology of complex fluids, Particulate
product engineering.
