Biography
Dr. Mondal has joined IIT Ropar as an Assistant Professor on February 2017. Before
joining this institute, he served as an assistant professor at Dr. B. R Ambedkar
National Institute of Technology Jalandhar. He did his Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from
Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and M. Tech in Chemical Engineering from Indian
Institute of Technology Roorkee. He completed his Bachelor of Technology in Chemical
Engineering from University Colleges of Science and
Technology, University of Calcutta. He also has Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry
(Hons.) from Asutosh College, University of Calcutta. His research area is focused on
hydrogen production from renewable sources, biomass
conversion processes, waste to energy conversion, waste water treatment, chemical
kinetics and modelling.
