Dr. Aparna N is an assistant professor in the dept of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Ropar. She is also an associate faculty member of the IKS Centre at IIT Ropar. She works extensively in the domain of contemporary literature that revisits history. She has conducted an INSA-funded project on the topic of Indian martial arts history and its links with indigenous medical practices. Her work appeared in reputed journals of Taylor and Francis, Sage, De Guyter, Springer and even Nature’s HSSCOMM. Dr Aparna is also a two-time recipient of the university gold medal. She has completed her PhD from IIT Madras in the domain of fiction that revisits conflict histories. Her current research interests are historiographic fiction and performance studies.
