The 11th Annual Convocation of IIT Ropar was held in December 2022. The Chief Guest was Sh. Rajinder Gupta, Founder & Chairman of Trident Group India. The ceremony was attended by faculty, students, parents, and eminent guests. Prof. Rajeev Ahuja, Director, presented the Annual Report and congratulated all stakeholders. A total of 564 students graduated from various academic programmes. The President’s Gold Medal and Director’s Gold Medal were awarded to Hansin Kishore Ahuja (CSE). In his convocation address, Sh. Rajinder Gupta emphasized the need for knowledge-driven leadership. He spoke about leveraging data and analytics to create actionable insights for industries. He encouraged graduates to contribute to India’s growth through innovation and intelligence-based solutions. Dr. K. Radhakrishnan, Chairman, BoG, also addressed the gathering. He reiterated that academic excellence and research innovation are the pillars of IIT Ropar. The event celebrated IIT Ropar’s continued progress in education, research, and societal impact.
