The Convocation Ceremony at the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) is one of the most significant and prestigious events of the academic calendar. It marks the culmination of years of rigorous learning, innovation, and research, as students are formally awarded their degrees and step into their professional and academic journeys. Up to the year 2025, IIT Ropar has successfully conducted a total of 14 convocations.

Held annually, the convocation ceremony celebrates the achievements of graduating students from undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across various disciplines of science, engineering, and humanities. The event is graced by eminent personalities from academia, industry, and government, along with members of the Board of Governors and Senate.
