Research Grade Universal Rheometer System
Model: MCR 702 Series
Brief Introduction of the Instrument:
A rheometer is a specialized scientific instrument used to measure the flow properties of complex fluids and soft materials. It is particularly useful in studying substances like polymers, gels, pastes, and various other viscoelastic materials. Rheometers are commonly employed in research and development, quality control, and material characterization across industries such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food, and materials science.
Technical Specification:
General samples: complex fluids, Suspensions, emulsions ,paints, gel, polymers, dry powders (powder rheology) (1 μm – 1000 μm) Principle: the principle of measuring the flow and deformation behavior of materials under the influence of applied forces, typically shear forces. Typical measurement time: 10 sec-30min(depends on sample).
Application of the Instrument:
Cosmetics and Personal Care Products Food and Beverages Health care Paints and Coatings Chemicals and Materials Gel Bio-Rheology Polymers and Plastics.
Limitation of the Instrument:
- Torque:1nM (rotation and oscillation both)
- Temp range: -160 to 1000(°C)
- Pressure range: upto 1000 bar
Sample type and consumable needed:
- Sample Type: gel, suspensions, complex fluids, granular materials
- Consumables:
