Dr. Tapas Chatterjee

Associate Professor
Dr. Tapas Chatterjee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at IIT Ropar. Dr. Tapas Chatterjee obtained his Doctoral degree from the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai, India. After obtaining his Doctoral degree Dr. Chatterjee joined as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada. Dr. Chatterjee was also a visiting researcher at the Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics (ICERM, Brown University). Dr. Chatterjee was a Visiting professor at the Universite Pierre et Marie Curie, University of Paris VI, France during May-June, 2017, a Visiting professor at the Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan during June-July, 2018 and also a visiting professor at the Sorbonne University, Paris, France during June-July 2019. Dr. Chatterjee’s research is focused on various topics in Number Theory.
