ZEITGEIST : The yearly cultural event at IIT Ropar is called Zeitgeist. "Zeitgeist" is German for "The spirit of Times." Zeitgeist is the rebirth of the spirit that guarantees to give you experiences that will be remembered for all time, and it is growing in stature and scope every year. It promises to engross you and induce a new trance. It promises to help you pay attention to the sluggish river of emotions inside you once more, overfill the carafe of juices in you, and just have fun. It is a fusion of the real and the imagined, of the material and the immaterial, and a platform for a wide range of abilities. Zeitgeist is hosted each year with a new theme and energy. It is considered the finest cultural fest of Punjab, with a footfall of over 2000 people from colleges throughout North India; one can expect to witness innumerable music, dance, dramatics, and other cultural events.

ADVITIYA : The IIT Ropar's annual technical festival, ADVITIYA, features a variety of technical activities, quizzes, gaming competitions, guest talks by CEOs or academics from prestigious institutions, a DJ night, and a star night. Like ZEITGEIST, ADVITIYA is a three-day event that draws participation from several institutes across India. In 2020, IIT Ropar held the fourth iteration of its yearly technical festival, Advitiya. Advitiya's events, workshops, and speeches are purposefully planned to meet modern demands and provide both entertainment and educational value, and spread the importance of scientific thinking and reasoning.

AAROHAN: Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar, hosts the annual sports festival known as Aarohan. Every year after Aarohan's launch in 2016, it has continuously advanced. Aarohan, IIT Ropar's premier athletic event, is held over the course of three days and is nothing less than a sporting pageant. By offering top-notch organizational infrastructure, facilities, and inspiration to help students reach the pinnacle of their individual sporting abilities, Aarohan draws in a diverse group of young people from all around north India.
