Cynosure & National Symposium on Advances in Mathematics, Cynosure, the annual research day of Department of Mathematics, IIT Ropar, is expected to provide an opportunity for the young researchers to meet and discuss about the latest development in the field of mathematics. The symposium will also provide an opportunity to meet a few top mathematicians of India. The aim of the symposium is to motivate young students and academicians towards research in mathematics and allied areas.
Meaning of the word "cynosure" :something that strongly attracts attention by its brilliance, interest, etc.

Online Mode:
Registration can be done by filling up the registration form (also downloadable by CLICKING HERE) and paying the fee by bank transfer/deposit.
The proof of the payment and the filled-in form should be scanned and send by email to cynosure@iitrpr.ac.in on or before
 17th February 2024


For Students : A nominal fee ₹ 1200 (Rupees Twelve Hundred Only) + GST of 18% (in total : ₹ 1416) towards food, kit etc.

For Faculty members : fee ₹ 3000 (Rupees Three Thousand Only) + GST of 18% (in total : ₹ 3540) towards food, kit etc.
