Yashi Upadhyay

Hi, I am Yashi Upadhyay, a 2k17 B.Tech graduate in Computer Science from IIT Ropar. The journey of 4 years has been the most beautiful experience of my life. Supportive seniors and faculty, beautiful campus, quality education, real world experiences, and amazing friends. 
The faculty here have been simply amazing - always approachable and open to any queries. The professors are experts in their core fields and motivate to take up real life challenges in forms of projects and internships.
Apart from the moderately packed academic curriculum in the weekdays, the plethora of club activities help to refuel your energy on the weekends. Social-interaction in Club activities helped me to improve my soft skills. There are a couple of hangout places nearby college to relax your mind, bring back the child in you and enjoy to the fullest. Choosing a new IIT was my decision, that was totally worth it. I wish I could get an equally lively and positive environment in the journey of my life ahead.

Nancy Balhara

As soon as I hear the word "IIT Ropar", thousands of memories cross my mind and take me to the place where I spent the best time of my life.
Hi all, I am Nancy Balhara, a 2k17 B.Tech graduate in Electrical Engineering. I will be joining Amazon as an SDE.
IIT Ropar has been a home to me with a family of more than 600 people since the last four years. I made some amazing friends here and I will cherish these friendships forever. Three words to describe this place - Opportunities,  Opportunities and Opportunities. When I joined IIT Ropar,  I was a completely a different person - I was shy, introvert and completely clueless about pretty much everything. This place transformed me into a confident,  strong and a better person. Be it Academics, sports, music or any other extra curricular activity for that matter, the facilities provided by the institution are fabulous. There are some commendable points about this college like the faculty is great with full of enthusiasm. The labs are well equipped, there are talented coaches for sports and the best part is, there are a lot of clubs and societies like astronomy club, Robotics, Dance Club,  Music Club,  Enactus and many more where one can grow and learn. There are thousands of opportunities... One can always pursue his/her dreams here. The seniors, alumni,  faculty all are very supportive and always there to help. The juniors are very friendly and the batch mates are always with you.
I definitely recommend IIT Ropar to anyone who wants to have an extraordinary experience of grad school which is full of life.
