Biography: 

Dr. Raju obtained his doctoral degree from the department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India. He carried out post-doctoral studies at Indian Statistical Institute Bangalore, India. Dr. Raju was a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics, Central University of Tamilnadu, India from July 2012 to May 2013. He has been a recipient of Best thesis award at the department of Mathematics, IIT Madras for his doctoral work. Presently, he is an Assistant Professor at the Department Mathematics at IIT Ropar. Dr. Raju’s areas of research interests include Matrix Analysis, geometric accepts of functional analysis, Approximation theory, Fixed point theory and applications.

Currently (II Semester, A.Y. 2021-22) Dr. Raju is handling two courses, MA610 – Measure Theory (for P.G students) and MA101 – Calculus (for UG students, 1st tri-semester of A.Y. 2021-22).

Dr. Raju taught EIGHT different course, MA101/MA112 Calculus (thrice), MA102/MA114 Linear Algebra (thrice), MA202 Probability and Statistics (once), MA411/MA115 Real Analysis (four times), MA425-Topoloty (once), MA511/MA453 - Functional Analysis (four times), MA610 –Measure Theory (twice) and MA614/MA459 – Applied Linear Algebra and Matrix Analysis (thrice) for UG/PG students with an average feedback score is 4.58/5.

Also, Dr. Raju Handled THREE different course, MAL602 - Advanced Analysis (once), MA608 – Operator Theory (twice) and MAL 716 - Banach Algebras (once) exclusively for Ph.D students of the department.
