Electronic Document Delivery Service

Nalanda Library provides Electronic Document Delivery (EDD) to help faculty, researchers, and students obtain journal articles and book chapters that may not be directly available through the Library's own subscriptions.

Research Support Service

Electronic Document Delivery (EDD) is an important library service in the digital era and functions similarly to Inter-Library Loan (ILL). It involves the electronic delivery of articles, chapters, and other documents from partner libraries when a required resource is not available locally.

Users should send complete bibliographic details along with the web link of the required article to subscriptions@iitrpr.ac.in . The Library will arrange access either from its own subscriptions or through partner libraries, subject to publisher license agreements.

EDD enables libraries to share resources efficiently within the terms of publisher licenses. This service is especially valuable in times of budget constraints and ensures that researchers receive timely access to essential scholarly literature.
