Nalanda Library organized the Bookmark Design Competition for campus kids, celebrating creativity, imagination, and artistic expression among young participants on July 04^th 2026.

Nalanda Library had the honour of welcoming the Institute’s Founder Director, Prof. M. K. Surappa, on 25^th February 2026. His visit was a moment of great encouragement and inspiration for the library team.
During his visit, Prof. Surappa interacted with the library professionals, observed the facilities and services, and shared valuable insights and constructive suggestions. His thoughtful appraisals and forward-looking perspectives were truly empowering and motivating for the team.

Nalanda Library hosted a dynamic three-day professional development program featuring Mr. Zachary W. Painter, Librarian for Science and Engineering at Princeton University USA, from September 22^nd to 24^th 2025 for library professionals.

On November 6^th 2025, we partnered with the American Chemical Society for an impactful workshop on mastering scientific writing, featuring insights from Ms. Ellie Key and Dr. Ajay Jha on creating standout research papers, visual storytelling, and ethical practices.
