Prior to the start of every academic year at IIT Ropar, Library orientation program will be arranged from Library side. The main objective of the orientation program is to introduce the new users to the library resources and services. After attending the Library orientation, new users will be familiar with the print and electronic resources available for their disposal along with how to use the Library, how to do Library transactions, using OPAC & what are do’s and do not’s during their Library use. Users also trained with citing & referencing tools, using of language tool and plagiarism detection tool.
